Why crawling is so important

Babies these days start crawling later or even skip this crucial milestone altogether. This might be because most are now placed on their back rather than on their tummy to sleep. Crawling is an important part of your baby’s development for many reasons. Of course, it takes her motor abilities to a new level, but it also spurs growth, boost brain development, vision and coordination. The non-slip tights will increase your baby’s confidence and balance when learning to crawl.

crawling benefits

Brain development boost

Left and right brain coordination is boosted by crawling, as the brain is required to process hearing, sight and movement all at the same time. So the more your baby practices crawling, the more synchronized and developed each of these essential skills will become.

Perfect grip and increased stability will give confidence for your little adventure to try this skill more and more:

01. INNOVATIVE ANTI-SLIP TECHNOLOGY

We borrowed anti-slip technology from high-performance athletes and dancers. It has just the right amount of grip for your baby to master the crawling skill easier and safer.

02. THIN AND ELASTIC COATING

The anti slip coating is super thin, that means your baby will not notice the texture on the her knees while crawling.

03. WORKS ON WET SURFACE

Our PU technology performs better on wet surfaces than silicone. That means even if your little adventurer will crawl into bathroom or kitchen it will not end as misadventure.

crawling benefits

Strengthens muscles

Since the baby needs to exert a coordinated force to move the body, muscles eventually become stronger. Crawling strengthens the muscles of shoulders, arms, and back. It also makes the muscles of the abdomen and hips firmer.

We created these baby crawling tights for maximum comfort during all amazing baby adventures.

SELF-CONFIDENCE AND INDEPENDENCE

We strongly believe that if you want to rise a happy and confident child you need to build her independence early. A crawling baby is building self-confidence and making some of their first decisions. They take regular physical risks and with each success – and failure – discover both their potential and their limitations.

We created our designs as reminders that every even the smallest step is ordinary only for us – grown ups – and for your little one, it’s the most amazing adventure. That is why every product has different design on the knees – as a cute hint to the fascinating discoveries your baby will have.

👉Signs your baby may be ready to sit

Your baby may be ready to sit if they have good head control. Other bodily motions will also be more controlled and purposeful.

📌Babies who are ready to sit are also likely pushing themselves up when lying face down, and may have learned to roll over.

📌Your baby may start by sitting for short periods of time if you position them upright. At this early stage, it’s important to support your baby so they don’t fall.

📌Babies who are nearing the independent sitting milestone, closer to 7 to 9 months, are likely able to roll in both directions. Some may even be scooting back and forth, getting ready to crawl. Some others may experiment with pushing themselves into a tripod position. In this position, the baby is sitting supported by one or both hand on the floor.

📌It’s likely your baby will be able to hold themselves in a seated position before being able to push themselves into the position on their own. With enough practice, they’ll gain strength and confidence, and will be sitting up like a pro in no time.

📌Once your baby is sitting, try fostering their independence further by practicing the transition from the floor to sitting. Practice will help strengthen all their core muscles and help them gain confidence in this very new position!

💡How does crawling affect child development?

📍Sorry, it is a long post, save it when you have time for reading 😂

More than anything, crawling represents freedom. From a cognitive point of view, becoming mobile is such a huge thing!

It's usually the first time they are getting to actively explore their environment, versus someone having to carry them from point A to point B.

They also start to gain a sense of independence from their parent or caregiver, as they move away from them and then move back.

Besides that a child gains many developmental benefits as she navigates her way across the floor:

❤️Having the arms bear weight develops the arches of the hands, which helps later on with handwriting 😮 and fine motor skills, and shoulder stability, which comes from the pushing.

❤️Who would have thought that crawling could improve a child’s problem solving skills? As a child maneuvers around, they discover distance and placement of objects.

❤️Crawling helps develop visual skills that assess the differences between movable and stationary objects.

❤️Left and right brain coordination is boosted by crawling, as the brain is required to process hearing, sight and movement all at the same time.

❤️Finally, crawling helps develop core stability and coordination, because you're using your opposite arm and leg at the same time.

Since it is already a very long, next time I will write some ideas how to prepare your little one for crawling 😀
